Topic/Theme: Other countries make great scotch, too!  Of course, it just can’t be called scotch.

Scotches/Whiskies Tasted: Penderyn (Wales), Tomatin 12 yr., Hibiki 12 yr. (Japan).  Tasting was done blindly, and most attendees correctly guessed which one was the scotch.

Back to Basics- Legally speaking, what is scotch?

New Business:

1.       November’s meeting will be November 14th.  (October’s is Oct. 10th)

2.       Additionally, we have set the date for December’s meeting.  It will be December 5th.

3.       For our Christmas meeting (Dec. 5th), our goal is to have half the attendees bring a dish, the other half bring a bottle of scotch.

4.       Congrats to Mike Peters- officially a member.  Good on ya, mate!  Mike will also be handling our website and facebook page from now on.
