Topic/Theme:  Scotland, Scotch, and the George Orwell connection.  Ethan Cox, co-founder and president of Community Beer Works, Buffalo’s newest brewery, joined us as our guest for the evening.

Scotches/Whiskies Tasted: Ardbeg Corryvreckan, Isle of Jura 16yr, and Wasmunds.

Famous Scotsman: William McMaster Murdoch, presented by Geoff B.

Covered in the news: Johnnie Walker adding more to their portfolio, but doing away with the current “gold” label.  Scotch whisky being made to be bottled at George Washington’s distillery, and Ardbeg sends whisky into outer space to see how it ages in near-zero gravity.
